Humboldt State University Admissions Overview:

With an acceptance rate of 77%, Humboldt State is accessible to many. Humboldt State Description:

Humboldt State University is the northernmost of the schools in the California State University system. Its location in Arcata sits alongside a redwood forest and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Students have easy access to hiking, swimming, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities in this ecologically rich corner of Northern California. The university has a 21 to 1 student / faculty ratio and offers its undergraduates 47 bachelor's degree programs. In athletics, the Humboldt State Lumberjacks compete in the NCAA Division II California Collegiate Athletic Association. Popular sports include basketball, soccer, cross country, football, rowing, track and field.
